(no subject)

So, the good news is that I finally have a roommate lined up for next year, and unlike some of the other people who have responded to my ads, she appears to be neither broke nor psychotic. Yay.

The somewhat odd news is that she's not only an undergraduate, but a former student of mine. Survey of British Literature, Chaucer through Pope, last fall. She did have an A- in the class ... which is good ... and she seems to be a nice person ... but this is going to be very weird.

I'm beginning to feel like I've lived in this town way, way too long.
