Because it's been ages since I've done one of these posts, and because hunting for amusing summaries is way more fun than doing actual work. As always, bizarre R&J AUs never go out of style...

more silly summaries
Sep. 3rd, 2010 08:02 pmI have papers to grade, so you know what that means: instead of grading them, I have been exploring the wilds of ff.net. Bible section, this time.
( In which Jesus meets several Mary Sues and has a Twitter account, God creates blowup dolls, and we learn how to achieve great Gothness )
Assorted summaries of Shakespeare fic, courtesy of ff.net. I think it's rather refreshing that some Mary Sues are into Saturninus.
( Why, this is very mid-summary madness )
I don't know why I didn't learn my lesson after the last time I ventured into the wilds of the Shakespeare section of ff.net, but apparently, I'm slow. Anyway, I bring you a list of summaries that amused me.
( the summary of all our griefs )
Is there any Angelo / Mariana fic out there, or do I have to write some myself?

Mar. 5th, 2007 09:50 pmBecause I don't feel like doing actual work, here is another exciting edition of Fanfiction Summaries that Probably Shouldn't Exist, But Do. This is sort of the Dystopia Special, culled from the Lord of the Flies, 1984, Aldous Huxley, and Fahrenheit 451 sections at ff.net. (Incidentally, Simon from Lord of the Flies was my first-ever literary crush. Sigh, I always seem to pick the doomed ones.)
( Includes a rapping Piggy, TV star Ralph, and many male couples )

Jan. 26th, 2007 06:29 pmChapter 12 of Remorse is up at FictionAlley and Godric's Hat.
And, just for fun, here's another set of Moderately Disturbing Summaries of Fanfic Based on Classic Literature, this time culled from the Bible section at ff.net.
( Jusus, duh! )

More fun from ff.net
Aug. 2nd, 2006 04:57 pmThis is me not writing my dissertation. Yeah, yeah, I know. But for some reason I got the bright idea of looking at the Jane Austen and Charles Dickens sections of ff.net, and I bring you more summaries.

Why, oh why, did I decide to look at the Shakespeare section of fanfiction.net? I do not know. But I bring you summaries for your amusement.
( Such summaries may more properly be said / To be executed than celebrated )
