Your Burbage story *sounds* like a perfectly respectable historical novel--ghost narrator is a selling point! I'd be happy to look it over as someone who has experience pitching my own novels to publishers successfully... albeit in a different genre. AO3 is great but I bet this one could get sold to a publisher.
