The comments on the "Visited Countries" page are, alas, both hilarious and depressing, and proof positive that we won't be achieving world peace any time soon. Some of my favorites:

"Europe should be treated as a single country, as it is less diverse than India, for example, with respect to language, climate, religion and other parameters. And it is rather dull. "

"Palestine is a country. It's under illegal foreign occupation, doesn't make it less of a country, racists."

"Is there any way to separate the liberal, peaceful, thinking beings of the US from the rest of the country?

Maybe a special checkbox (select if you wish Bush many loathsome diseases), should isolate Washington, D.C. and turn it into a Bull's Eye? :-) "

"Why should the U.S be split into states?? Australia isn't and it's just as big. Americans should realise that there country isn't the most important country in the world. Then maybe people might stop thinking they're a bunch of a knobbers."

"Sweden should be much bigger on the map. You see, Sweden is by far the most mighty and powerfull country on the face of the earth. Therefor it should be bigger!"

No, we don't have states. We just have big fences that keep different livestock apart. See where I am? I'm in prime goat country.

Well, to be fair, I THINK the person was saying "Why does the US get its own states map, when Australia doesn't?" and not "Australia doesn't have states." But given some of the idiots in the world, who knows?

That's originally how I read it. I'm pretty sure that what we were taught off in primary school were states maps. Either that, or giant Rorschach tests.
