A random Marlowe thought
Nov. 2nd, 2005 10:00 amDoes anybody else think Edward II would have turned out a lot better if they'd had Queer Eye for the Straight Guy in the fourteenth century? Edward and Gaveston and Spencer, Junior could have gotten together and shown Mortimer how to wear a short Italian hooded cloak and a Tuscan cap properly, so that he wouldn't have to be embarrassed at court and could stop fomenting rebellions, and once the fleering Scots saw that you could ride to battle in a spangled crest and still kick arse, they'd start sending their sons to the English court so they could learn how.
... All right, maybe not. Never mind.

In other words: you totally rock. And someone should write that. And I should stop slacking off at work. ;)
